both are really good but i think fallout 3 is better only because ive played fallout 1 and 2.never played halo or halo 2.so i dont really understand the story.also RPGs are so much better than FPS games.

FALLOUT 3 is SOOOOO much better then Halo 3 but it all depends on what kind of games you like im into the RPG games and making your own character and stuff

Well, its mainly on your choice and wat u prefer. I like FPS and RPG, but since fallout 3 is described as the future oblivion and ive been playin a lot of oblvion, i thought that FPS is good.

This was a stupid.

Halo 3 made $170m in its first day of release, I doubt Fallout will get half that in the first month.

Both are entirely different games, of different genres. Thus, they cannot be compared properly. Fallout 3 will be an RPG with very little FPS properties.
Halo 3 is an FPS with no RPG properties. Depending on your inclination, your preference will be different. I will enjoy both.

Halo 3 = Generic Shooter, Version 3.

Fallout 3 = something different that will add to the genre.

Halo 3 is awesome.

Fallout 3… looks great – but who knows?
